Carolyn Joyce "MeMe" Haselden

Carolyn Joyce "Meme" Haselden, 84, of North Charleston, SC, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, May 8, 2016 in the New Beginnings Worship Center, 2816 S. Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner at 3:00 pm. The interment will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016, Beaufort National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Meme was born September 4, 1931 in Norfolk, VA, daughter of the late Allen Andrews and Alma Livingston Andrews. She owned and operated a daycare in her home and she had also worked in church day care centers. She was a member of New Beginnings Worship Center.

She is survived by her son, Eugene William Haselden, Jr. (Samantha Scott, fiancée) of Goose Creek, SC; stepson, Anthony Eugene Haselden (Emma) of Pendleton, OR; stepdaughter, Theresa Eileen Wellert (Chuck) of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren: Chelsey Martin (Adam), Hannah Scott, Madalynn Petrowski, Makynzye Haselden, Christopher Ryan Haselden, Brandy Bradley and Amy Haselden; great-granddaughter, Petraluna Elizabeth Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Eugene William Haselden, Sr., and her siblings.
