Carolyn Audrey Conlon

Carolyn Conlon, born on June 19, 1934, in Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024. Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Charleston, a city she dearly loved and called home.

Carolyn was the beloved wife of the late John Conlon. Together, they owned and operated a successful auto appraisal company in North Charleston, SC. Their dedication and hard work built a reputable business that served their community for many years.

She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, a cherished grandmother to her four grandchildren, and a loving great-grandmother to her nine great-grandchildren. Carolyn's family was the light of her life, and she took immense pride in their achievements and happiness.

Carolyn had a passion for plants, design, and cooking. She found joy in creating beautiful spaces and delicious meals, which she shared generously with her loved ones. An avid bingo player, she enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement of the game, often spending her evenings in friendly competition.

In her later years, Carolyn resided at Brookdale Assisted Living Community in Charleston, SC. There, she formed many valuable friendships and continued to spread her warmth and kindness to those around her. Her presence brought comfort and joy to the community, and she will be dearly missed by her friends and neighbors.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery. 

In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the many wonderful memories of Carolyn and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her dedication to her family, and her zest for life.

Rest in peace, Carolyn. You will be forever in our hearts.
