Caroline Elizabeth Bruggemann Dodenhoff

God called his faithful servant, Caroline Elizabeth Bruggemann Dodenhoff, home on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the age of 101 years old. Her graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Caroline was born July 24, 1917 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late George Frederick Bruggemann and Mabel Tumbleston Bruggemann. She was a longtime member of Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church and faithfully attended services all her life. Caroline made items to benefit the outreach center of her church, and she knitted and crocheted hats and scarves for the homeless at TriCounty Ministries. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting and helping others.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne Estelle Dodenhoff of Charleston, SC.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Colden Matthews Dodenhoff; and two beloved daughters: Carol Elizabeth Dodenhoff and Susan Mabel Dodenhoff.
