Carolee M. Hamilton, 88, formerly of Charleston SC, widow of Thomas C. Hamilton Jr. entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in Birmingham, AL. Her graveside service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive at 1:30 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., North Area Chapel, 2119 Dorchester Road.
Carolee was born June 7, 1926 in Irmo, SC, daughter of the late David Robert Meetze and the late Ruth Meetze.
She is survived by her son, David Hamilton and his wife Jeanne Faust of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Gaylia Malone and her husband Scott of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren: Elizabeth DeRouchie and her husband Grant, Zöe Hamilton, Rachel Levkoff, Nick Hamilton; nephew, John Harmon and his wife Carol. She was preceded in death by her sister, Brodys Harmon.
