Carol Ann Hanson Wright

Carol Ann Hanson Wright, 53, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 25, 2010. The relatives and friends of Carol Wright are invited to attend her Funeral Service in St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 28, 2010 at J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Wright was born on June 29, 1956, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Elizabeth Hunt Hanson Knight and the late Thomas Preston Hanson. She graduated from Wando High School and attended Clemson University. She was retired from Leiber Correctional Institution as a Deputy Warden. Following her retirement, Carol enjoyed volunteering with The American Red Cross. She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Hanson Knight of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Adam Christopher Wright of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one brother, Thomas Preston Hanson, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and two nephews, Thomas P. Shokes and Hunter C. Hanson, both of Charleston, SC. The family requests memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 604 Pitt Street, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
