Born December 3, 1954 in Charleston, SC, Carol is the daughter of William Albert Jordan and the late Jill Rogers Davis. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her husband, Artie Pye of Charleston; father, William Jordan of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a son, Charlie Newman and wife Desiree of Moncks Corner, SC; a daughter, Shona Noland of Ladson, SC; a sister, Jill Jordan Weatherford and husband Chuck of Charleston; and five grandchildren, Kayla, Andrew, Austin, Aiden and Ashley. Carol was preceded in death by a grandson, Jordan.
