Carol Ann Carner

Carol Ann Carner, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Thomas Joseph Carner, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm, and the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior.  Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Carol was born August 17, 1938 in Plymouth, West Virginia, daughter of the late Carl W. Arthur and Ecil Childres Arthur. Carol was a member of First Southern Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener, and had a love for softball and bowling.

In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her son, Jeffery Carner (Denise); daughter, Karen Lewis (William); grandchildren, Amanda Turner and Amber Judy; great-grandchildren, Chase Turner, Caden Turner, and Isabel Judy; and sister, Jackie Persinger. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Arnold McGraw.
