Carol Ann Holtzscheiter Brown, 68, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, wife of Douglas "Doug" Paul Brown entered heaven on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 in the Isle of Palms Baptist Church, 14 24th Avenue at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Nesmith Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:30 pm. The family will receive friends Friday, April 10, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Carol was born September 4, 1946 in Kingstree, South Carolina, daughter of the late Charles Leonard Holtzscheiter, III and the late Pearl Stuckey Holtzscheiter. She was a hairdresser with Arlene's Beauty Salon.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas P. Brown of Isle of Palms, SC; her children, Mr. Charles (Chuck) Reynolds of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Ronnie) Reynolds of Goose Creek, SC, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Troy Follak of Savannah, GA, Mr. Zachary Brown of Isle of Palms, SC, and Mr. Ian Brown of Isle of Palms, SC; her sisters, Gayle Lewis of Miami, FL, Leonardene (Dena) Wall of Sullivan's Island, SC, and Jessica (Midget) Elam of Crystal River, FL; her fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles L. (Junior) Holtzscheiter, III, mother, Pearl Stuckey Holtzscheiter, and a brother, Charles (Chuck) Holtzscheiter, IV.
