Carol Jeanne Sugerman Adelman, 66, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Dr. Saul Joseph Adelman, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 27, 2014. Her funeral service was held graveside on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Brith Sholom Beth Israel (Maryville) at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements were handled by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Carol was born March 28, 1948 in San Diego, California, daughter of David Sugerman and Betty Starr Sugerman. She was a member of Congregation Dor Tikvah and a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Aaron Adelman of Giv'at Shmu'el, Israel, Barry Adelman (Nancy) of Port Orange, Florida, and David Adelman (Katherine) of Hanahan, South Carolina; her brothers, Dr. Richard Sugerman (Beverly) of Upland, California, Dr. Jay Sugerman (Ruth) of Los Angeles, California; and many nieces and nephews.
