Carlos Dianas Villanueva, 26, of Hollywood, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

His Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3871 Betsy Kerrison Parkway. Burial will immediately follow in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel.

Carlos was born on August 31, 1999, in Charleston, South Carolina, the beloved son of Atenodoro Villanueva and Liboria Dianas Villanueva.

Carlos lived life with energy, humor, and a love for the things that brought him joy. He enjoyed firearms, running, playing basketball, rapping, karaoke, and shooting pool. He was also known for his adventurous spirit and his ability to make those around him laugh.

Throughout high school, Carlos excelled in athletics, participating in track and field, football, and wrestling. He was especially proud of his decision to serve his country by joining the United States Army.

Carlos is survived by his loving parents, Atenodoro Villanueva and Liboria Dianas Villanueva; his siblings, Rosalinda Dianas-Villanueva, Dante Dianas Villanueva, and Rodolfo Villanueva Dianas; and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
