SCPO Carlos C. Galvan, U.S. Navy Ret., 79, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Kathleen Muratore Galvan entered into eternal rest Friday, September 1, 2023. His memorial service with military honors will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. The Burial At Sea will be held by the Navy.

Carlos was born August 27, 1944 in Bastrop, TX, Carlos was the eldest child of the late Victorio Galvan and the late Petra Castillo Galvan. He retired as Senior Chief in the Navy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and spending time with his famiily and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen Galvan of Goose Creek, SC; his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three of his brothers.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
