Carlisle Taylor

Carlisle Taylor, 76, husband of Clara Lee Tuttle Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012. The relatives and friends of Carlisle Taylor are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Carlisle was born on January 4, 1936 in Dillon, South Carolina, son of the late David Charlie Taylor, Sr. and Annie Mae Butler Taylor. He graduated from Conway High School in 1953 and served in the United States Air Force. Carlisle was a computer programmer and a member of Etiwan Lodge No. 95, Scottish Rite, York Rite and Omar Hillbilly Clan 82.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Clara Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two sons, Richard Carlisle Taylor and his fiancée, Paige Kelley, of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Randall L. Taylor and his fiancée, Dorothy Dumond, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one brother, David Charles Taylor, Jr. of French Quarter Creek, SC and two grandchildren, Sarah J. Taylor and Richard "Ricky" C. Taylor, Jr.
