Carl Walker McCue, 68 of Huger, South Carolina passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011.  The relatives and friends of Carl McCue are invited to attend his Funeral Service at the graveside on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 3:00.  The family requests casual dress. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. 

Carl was born on February 3, 1943 in Columbia, South Carolina, son of the late John Carrere McCue and Gladys Graham McCue.  He attended Moultre High School and was later employed as an outside machinist at Detyens Shipyard.  In 1986, he moved to Huger, SC where he had many loyal and loving friends, to whom the family is deeply grateful for the care they have given him.

He is survived by a sister, Peggy Freymuth and her husband, Wayne, of Summerville, SC; one niece, Anne F. Beane and her children, Harleigh and Tanner, all of Summerville, SC. He is also survived by a half-sister, Shirley Rabon and her husband, Robert, and their son, Timmy, of Walterboro, SC.
