Carl Frederick Livingston, III

Carl Frederick Livingston, III, 74, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Jane Ellen Hendren Livingston, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 15, 2022. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd., North Charleston at 1:00pm.  The family will received friends from 12:00pm until the time of service.  Interment with Military Honors will be private, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Carl was born December 18, 1947 in Columbia, South Carolina, son of the late Carl Frederick Livingston, Jr. and Ruby Edna Rucker.  He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and later worked at the Naval Shipyard, where he had various responsibilities as a mechanical engineer.  In his free time, Carl loved to golf, hunt, fish, go shrimping with his work buddies and be a "pretend farmer" on his land in Calhoun County.  He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53+ years, Jane; two sons, Steven Eric Livingston and his wife, Kristie and Paul Frederick Livingston and his wife, Amanda; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marie Livingston, Jonah Samuel Livingston, Anna Elisabeth Livingston, Emery Hayes Livingston and Finley Sloane Livingston; one sister, Debbie Livingston Humphries and her husband, Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
