Carl Lee Harmon

Carl was born June 24, 1963 in Robinson, Illinois.  He graduated from Martinsville High School in Martinsville, Illinois in 1981 and graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois in 1985.  Carl then devotedly served in the U.S. Border Patrol from 1987 – 2012.  Carl married Leticia Marquez on May 21, 1994 and proudly became the Papa of Corina and Vanessa.  While Carl was an avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends most of all.  Carl was the glue that held his family together.  Carl will be fondly remembered and missed for his great sense of humor, his generous spirit, and his devotion to those he loved. 

Carl was the beloved grandson of the late Richard and Beulah Dickey and of the late Virgil and Esther Harmon; son of the late Carl and Kay Harmon and son-in-law of the late Carmen Lazos; husband for 28 years of Leticia Harmon; father of Corina Zimmerman (Matt) and Vanessa Keel (Chris); brother of Susan Yarbrough (Johnnie); brother-in-law of Rudy Marquez (Angela) and Gracie Marquez; uncle of Aiden Lee Yarbrough, Angelic Huizar, Gina Muniz, Patricia Marquez, and Rachel Vonderahe-Cossey; nephew of Dottie (Dickey) Manuell and the late Dick Dickey, the late Keith and Joan Gust, the late Albert and Alice Harmon, Coy and De Harmon, Troy and the late Carol Harmon, the late Willard and Mildred Perkins, and the late Wayne and Jane Strohm.  Carl was also a treasured cousin, great-uncle, and friend.
