Carl Miller Brown, 67, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Thursday, June 29, 2017. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 p.m.
Carl was born August 19, 1949 in Augusta, Georgia, son of the late Carl Andrew and Mary Louise Miller Brown. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina, worked as a CPA, and retired from MUSC.
He is survived by his son, David Polson Brown and his wife, Elise of Wadmalaw Island, SC, and their daughters, Elise Seabrook Rivers Brown and Harriet Hay Ellis Brown; as well as his sister, Cheryl Brown Page and her husband, Andy. He is also survived by his longtime partner, Susan Haskill of Mount Pleasant, SC, her three daughters, and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Medical University of South Carolina, Hollings Cancer Center, Bone Marrow Transplant Department, 86 Jonathan Lucas Street, MSC 955, Charleston, SC 29425 or to Danny and Ron's Rescue, P.O. Box 604, Camden, SC 29021.
