Carissima Felipa Zita Oliver Bailey, 49, of Summerville, SC, died Friday, June 1, 2012 after an 8 year courageous battle with cancer.
Born April 22, 1963 in Charleston, SC; she was the daughter of John Samuel Oliver and Edna Jane Henson Oliver. She was formerly employed with Spheris as a medical transcriptionist. Carissima was a member of Gateway Community Church in Moncks Corner.
She is survived by her son, Lee V. Bailey, Jr. of Summerville, SC; daughter, Karissa Bailey of Columbia, SC and son, Hunter Bailey of Summerville, SC; former spouse Lee V. Bailey Sr. and his spouse Emily of Ladson, SC; four brothers and five sisters.
The memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in Gateway Community Church, 3537 South Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner.
Memorials may be made to Dragon Boat Charleston, 1643 Savannah Hwy, #261, Charleston, SC 29407.
