Capt. William Guy Crocker

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of June 28, 2011, Capt. William Guy "Bill" Crocker, USN (Ret.), husband of Elizabeth Brown Crocker of Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Captain and Mrs. Bill Crocker are invited to attend the memorial service of the former Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Pinecrest Baptist Church at 2 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday in the church sanctuary one hour prior to service.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Mr. Crocker was born on October 16, 1938 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, son of the late Joseph Noble and Cornelia Powell Crocker.  Captain Crocker served in the United States Navy for 26 years and following retirement served Charleston County as the Deputy Administrator for Support.  Bill was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, held a Master of Business of Administration from George Washington University, Washington, DC and was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, two daughters, Mary Cook of San Jose, CA and Alice Crocker of Charleston; a brother, Joseph Melville Crocker of Garner, NC.
