Capt. Frederick Bigelow Easton USN Supply Corps

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of February 10, 2011 Captain Frederick Bigelow Easton, USN Supply Corps (Ret.), husband of Hall Riddle Easton.  Residence, Edisto Island, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Capt. and Mrs. Frederick Easton are invited to attend his memorial service Monday, February 14, 2011at Edisto Island United Methodist Church at 1 p.m.  Burial services will be conducted later.  The Reverend Dr. George G. Wilkes will officiate. 

Frederick was born December 21, 1946 in Washington DC, son of the late William Thomas Easton and the late Manoa Bigelow Easton.  He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Naval Post Graduate School, Monterey, CA.  Captain Easton retired after a distinguished career in the United States Navy . 

He is survived by his wife, Hall Riddle Easton of Edisto Island; two daughters, Meredith Hall Easton Richard and her husband Thomas of San Antonio, TX, Gretchen Ann Easton Walsh and her husband Christopher of Chapel Hill, NC; two brothers, Capt. Peter Bigelow Easton, USN (Ret.) of Virginia Beach, VA and Dr. William Bigelow Easton of Purcellville, VA; seven grandchildren, Matthew Hector Richard, Alison Hall Richard, Daniel Frederick Richard, Lillian May Richard, Joseph William Richard, William Charles Walsh, and Vivian Grace Walsh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 81 Gadsden Street, Charleston, SC  29403.
