Candace Yearwood Leaird

Candace Yearwood Leaird, 53, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife and devoted mother entered into eternal rest Friday, December 29, 2023. 

Candace was born May 20, 1970 in Albany, Georgia. She graduated from Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia and moved to Mt. Pleasant,  SC where she married David Leaird of Charleston, S.C. and started a family. She was a loving wife, mother and step mother. Her love of nature and all creatures big and small were very important parts of her life. She is survived by her devoted husband, David Leaird, their daughter Payton Hannah Leaird , her stepsons Chance Leaird of New York, NY,  Hunter Leaird of Charleston, SC , her mother in law Eunice Leaird and her parents John and Martina Yearwood of Mt. Pleasant, S.C

Her family will receive friends  Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 2-4 p.m.  at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway in Charleston. A service for close friends and family will be held at 4:00 p.m. at that same location. Arrangements by  J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
