Candace "Candy" Rich Cartin

Candace "Candy" Rich Cartin, 59, of Awendaw, South Carolina, wife of Edward "Dan" Cartin passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 surrounded by friends and family. Her Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Candy was born August 13, 1955 in Walpole, Massachusetts, daughter of Carl A. Rich and Evelyn Johnson Rich. She was a physical therapist and a member of All Saints Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Dan Cartin of Awendaw, SC; her parents, Carl and Evelyn Rich of Winter Park, FL; her children, Stacey Elizabeth Pollard of North Charleston, SC, Kara Lynn Shaw of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Christopher Jason Cartin of Mount Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Dillyn Connor Pollard and Noli Grace Shaw; and her sister, Carlyn Rich of Asheville, NC.
