Calvin Mack Cornett, Jr., 77, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Elizabeth Barden Cornett, entered into the presence of his LORD on Friday, June 14, 2024. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in the West Ashley Chapel at 10:00 am, and interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Mack was born July 13, 1946 in Beckley, West Virginia, son of the late Calvin Mack Cornett and Mildred Kincaid Cornett. Mack was a graduate of Concord College, earned his JD at Washington and Lee University, and received his Masters in Tax Law at William & Mary. He was a member of the Gideons Society and a member of Church Creek Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his wife of 47 years, Mack is survived by his son, David Gill Cornett (Rachel); grandchildren, Aurora Cornett and Stella Cornett; sister, Kimberly Cornett Lawson (Charlie); niece, Olivia Lawson; nephew, Chas Lawson; and the best of in-laws.
