HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. To honor Bruce's fun-loving spirit, the family encourages friends to dress in their best casual island wear.

Bruce was born August 20, 1950 in Miami, Florida, son of the late Richard James Abbott and Mary Spain Abbott. He loved people and telling stories of his many travels and adventurous life. Bruce loved his family and was a proud father and grandfather.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lindsay Milligan of San Leandro, CA, Haley Abbott of Johns Island, SC; two sons-in-law, Bill Milligan and Aaron Kuchar; two brothers, Lance Abbott of Vancouver, CN, Dean Abbott of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and beloved grandson, James Milligan.
