Brittany Anne Butler

Brittany Anne Butler, 45, passed away peacefully in her home on July 7, 2024. 

Brittany was born on September 27, 1978 to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kendall Butler in Columbia South Carolina. She attended Heathwood Hall and Hammond School and was named Miss Hammond. She was chosen because of her beauty, grace and confidence. She also danced many years at Calvert Brodie school of dance. She went on to become a successful property manager for several multifamily communities in Charlotte and Atlanta. Brittany was a sweet and joyful person. She had a laugh that made everyone who heard it smile. She loved the Caribbean, especially the crystal clear ocean. She was very passionate about her beloved dog Simba. She had a kind heart and was especially fond of helping the elderly. Her magnetic personality has left an indelible mark on those lives she touched during her short time here on Earth. Brittany attended Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant. 

Brittany is survived by her parents, sister, Ashley Butler Chakeris and (Anastasios Hugh); nephews John Kendall Chakeris and William Clayton Chakeris and niece, Ava King Chakeris, all of Mount Pleasant South Carolina. 

A celebration of life to honor Brittany is planned for a later date.
