Brian J. Schoepfel, 30, of Daniel Island, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in the Seacoast Christian Community Church, 750 Long Point Road. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. Brian was born May 7, 1985 in Rochester, NY, son of Jeffrey Schoepfel and Robin Ludwig Schoepfel. He was a graduate of Coastal Carolina University and was a valued employee as a Repair Technician with Thrifty Car Rental. He deeply loved his country and had participated in the ROTC program at CCU. In his spare time he enjoyed hockey, scuba diving, and movies.

He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Robin Schoepfel of Daniel Island, SC; his sister, Jessica Schoepfel of Myrtle Beach, SC; his brother, Nicholas Schoepfel of Daniel Island, SC; and his grandmothers, Bernice Schoepfel of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Suzanne Ludwig of Rochester, NY. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Schoepfel and Robert Ludwig.
