Brian Michael Saunders, 38, of Hanahan, South Carolina, husband of Malory Howard Saunders passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017. His Celebration of Life will be announced. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. Mount Pleasant CHAPEL.
Brian was born July 16, 1978 in Long Island, New York, son of John Henry Saunders and Alice Helena Tikkinen Saunders. He was a 2001 graduate of the College of Charleston and worked as a server in the food and beverage industry. He was a drummer in the band "Permanent Vacation" and attended Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant. Brian was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed. Brian never met a stranger and adored his family and friends. He made time spent with them number one and always reminded everyone how important it is to smile. Brian loved to rock and roll and was the best dad and husband his family could have wished for.
He is survived by his wife of six years, Malory Saunders and two daughters, Mackenzie Autumn Saunders and Molly Aileen Saunders, all of Hanahan, SC; father and mother, John and Alice Saunders of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Kevin Saunders of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister, Laura Long (Joseph) of Simpsonville, SC; two brothers-in-law, Lee Howard (Katie) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Adam Howard (Nicole) of Columbus, GA; niece, Amelia Long; and four nephews, Maddux Saunders, Trey Howard, Graham Howard and Hugh Howard.
A small private service is planned for Saturday at 11AM. A celebration of his life is open for all to attend, on Sunday at noon, at the Wild Wing Cafe on Coleman Blvd.
