Brian "Ooppie" Fredric Barfield, 36, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 18, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Brian was born June 9, 1979 in Charleston, SC, son of Julius Oneal Barfield, Jr., and Susan Hempton Barfield. He was a Master Plumber.

He is survived by his parents, Julius Barfield, Jr., of North Charleston, SC; mother, Susan Barfield of Ravenel, SC; daughter, Holly Barfield of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Joseph Barfield, and Matthew Barfield both of Ravenel, SC; Love of his Life, Amy Loftin of Charleston, SC.

He was a devoted father to Holly, loved his family, and shared his last moments with the Love of his Life Amy. He will be missed by his mom, dad, his brothers, and his daughter, and especially Amy. Rest in Peace my friend, We love you Ooppie!!!
