Brett Alan Davis, 23, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Saturday, September 16, 2017. His funeral service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Biggin Cemetery, Highway 402, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Northwoods Chapel.
Born September 16, 1994 in Charleston, SC, he was the son of Alan Craig Davis and Laura Cox Able. He graduated Fort Dorchester High School in 2012. Brett was creative and enjoyed painting, drawing, music, and dancing. He was an avid reader especially Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, and Beautiful Creatures. Brett had a radiant smile, an uplifting personality, and was always taking care of others. He was funny and known to be the life of the party.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Laura and Keith Able, father Alan Davis, four sisters: Ashley Gamble, Erica Vorhies and her husband SFC Aaron Vorhies, US Army, Candace Larkins, and Cherisse Eatmon; paternal grandmother, Donna Helms; maternal grandmother, Vickie McNair; maternal grandfather, Ray Cox; nephews and niece: Tristen Prioleau, Ayden Vorhies, and Adaline Vorhies, the extended Gamble family and a host of friends.
