Brendan Kelly Koepenick

Brendan Kelly Koepenick, 26, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday January 7, 2015. The relatives and friends of Brendan Koepenick are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, January 17, 2005 in St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 950 Darrell Creek Trail at 1:30 PM. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, January 16, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 5:00 until 7:00 PM where a Christian wake service will be held at 7:00 PM.

He was born on September 23, 1988 in Silver Spring, MD to Glen (Chip) and Kelly Koepenick. Brendan graduated from Bishop England High School in 2007. He attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL where he studied Music and Recording Arts.

Brendan was a caring and talented individual who loved to entertain others through music. The act of creating music was enjoyable for him, and any chance he got to share it with others seemed to bring him happiness. Even if it was just an audience of his nephews and niece, it was clear to see that this brought him great pleasure. He had a great sense of humor which was often on display at family gatherings. When not playing his guitar, Brendan enjoyed the beach, football and boating.

He is survived by his parents Glen (Chip) and Kelly Koepenick of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two brothers Sean Koepenick (Kathryn) of Boston, MA; Christopher Koepenick (Heather) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one sister Stacey Koepenick of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Grandmother Betty Crosby of Bethesda, MD; three nephews Max Koepenick, Aiden Motyll and Rory Koepenick; one niece Lila Koepenick; many Aunts,Uncles,cousins; and his fiancée Annie Poole of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He was predeceased by his beloved brother Patrick Koepenick.
