Brendan Auke Connell

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Brendan Auke Connell, 35, of Mt. Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends of Brendan Connell are invited to his Memorial Service in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Brendan was born April 13, 1976, in Boston, MA, son of Daniel Augustine Connell and Margaret Gertrude de Ruyter Connell. He was a graduate of Wando High School and USC. He was also an avid photographer, dog lover and water sports enthusiast. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and fellow Wide Spread Panic followers. He is survived by his parents of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister, Kristin Anne Connell of Sydney, Australia; niece, Xanthe Connell Badics of Sydney, Australia; three aunts, Corinne Khouri of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Inga de Ruyter of Los Altos, CA and Nancy Collins of Salem, NH and numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Home, 144 Faith Home Road, Greenwood, SC 29469.
