Brenda Roberts, who loved to be called "Momma" by her kids, departed her loving family on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Brenda was born in Charleston, SC to Lois and Henry Grimes. Brenda was mother to Tonya Roberts and Larry Garcia. She raised her children with love and devotion.
Brenda was known for her baking and creativity. She loved baseball, word puzzles, and baking for the holidays.
She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Roberts; son, Larry Garcia (Leti); grandchildren, Savannah, Maelee, Aniah, Isaiah, Mario, and Aleena. Aside from her children she doted on, Brenda is survived by her brothers, Henry Grimes (Deborah), James Grimes (Cindy), and Danny Grimes; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Grimes; mother, Lois Grimes; and brother, Bobby Grimes.
Her memorial service will be held at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
