Brenda M Readen

Brenda M. Readen, 57, of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 15, 2021. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 22, 2021 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC 29414. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Sunday, March 21, 2021, in the Stuhr West Ashley Chapel.

Brenda was born October 5, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN. She was a mother of four and a grandmother of one. Like many, she had her ups and downs, but she always loved her family and friends. Brenda preferred summer over winter and if she was not outside cutting the grass, she would be in the pool or fishing. She loved spending time with her children at the beach and water parks, as well as, riding roller coasters and traveling. Brenda was originally from Minnesota and wasn't a fan of cold. When cooler weather arrived, you would find her sitting on the sofa, eating sunflower seeds and watching "Lifetime" movies. She was a "stay at home mom" and enjoyed chaperoning the kids on school field trips. She will be remembered by her family as a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her four children, Geffery Readen, Samantha Readen, Brandon Readen and Danielle Readen.
