Brenda Jean Morris, 73, of Edisto Island, South Carolina, wife of Ralph A. Morris entered into eternal rest Monday, June 13, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 in Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church, 2014 Bees Ferry Road at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Thursday evening in the church from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Brenda was born December 2, 1942 in Bladen County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Clifton Nash Kinlaw and Mary Etta Bradshaw Kinlaw. She was a Cosmetologist for over 48 years and a successful business owner. Brenda was a past member of SC Cosmetology Association, former member of Citadel Square Baptist Church, member of the Charleston Rifle Club Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid gardener and loved taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ralph A. Morris of Edisto Island, SC; son, Adam Morris (Toniann) of Edisto Island, SC; daughter, Rhonda Morris of Charleston, SC; brother, Ed Kinlaw (Alice) of Summerville, SC; two sisters, Marie Craig (Dennis) of Cross, SC, and Patricia McKenzie (Tom) of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Kerrington Morris, Troy Morris, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
