Boyd Boston Davis

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 9, 2010, Boyd Boston Davis, husband of Annie Dorothy Hiers Davis.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Boston Davis are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 10:00 am in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, Red Hill Cemetery, Grays, SC (near Walterboro). Friends may call at Stuhr's Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.

Mr. Davis was born October 31, 1929 in Hampton, SC, the son of Henry Davis and Bertha Robinson Davis.  He was a member of Fort Johnson Baptist Church and retired as an electrician with Tillery Electric Company and Spivey Electric Company. 

He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; two daughters:  Carolyn Jean Davis of Charleston, SC and Linda Ann Maddox (Leon) of Savannah, GA; two sons: Jimmy L. Davis of Charleston, SC and Ray T. Davis (Aletha) of Charleston, SC; one sister: Hattie Hickman of Hollywood, SC; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his son, Harold B. Davis in 1976.
