Bobby Wesley Mason, 74, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Linda Bruce Mason, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Roper Hospital. His funeral service will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  

Bobby was born March 24, 1948, in Florence, South Carolina, son of the late Vernon Mason and Julia Mae Ford Mason.  He was a retired chemical plant operator with Mobil Chemical. He was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. He attended St. Andrews High School and was a Vietnam Navy veteran, a Mason and 32nd Degree Mason.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working, and collecting antiques. 

He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Priscilla Willcutt.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, he is survived by daughter, Christy Mason Dukes (Bill); son, Bryan Mason; grandson, J.W. Dukes; sister, Cathy Mizell (David) and his beloved chihuahua, Tippy.
