Bobby Michael Johnson

Bobby Michael Johnson , 47, of Goose Creek, SC, died Wednesday, February 15, 2017. His funeral service will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Bobby was born September 16, 1969 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Charlie H. Johnson and the late Joby J. Johnson. A graduate of North Charleston High School, he served in the US Army. Bobby was employed with the City of Charleston and formerly with Vision Landscaping and BandE Electrical Contractor.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Judy Bumgarner Johnson of Goose Creek SC; son, Austin Johnson; stepson, Kenny Carter and Michael Carter; three sisters: Terri Grooms (Ronnie), Alice Jenkins (Clyde), Debbie Button (Robert); two brothers, Tim Johnson (Judy), Billy Johnson (Ridgely); granddaughters: Ava Carter, Amber Carter and Hailey Carter; grandson, Michael Carter, Jr.; sister-in-law, Nancy Schmidt (Chuck Meyer); many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jordan Star.
