Bobby Frank Drennon, Sr., 85, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, died Friday, September 22, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to the service.
Bobby was born March 11, 1932 in Montgomery, Alabama, son of the late Noble Malcolm Drennon, Sr. and the late Flora Martin Drennon. He was a maintenance planner in the paper industry. Bobby was a former Master Mason with St. Andrews Masonic Lodge and a member of Charleston Southern Baptist Church. He was a car enthusiast, hobbyist, a BIG Carolina fan, and loved sharing time with his grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving faithful companion, Jean DiVentura; daughter, Rosa (Allan) Bolden; two sons, Bobby Frank (Anita) Drennon, Jr., David Allen (Debra) Drennon; grandchildren: Tamara Jean (Juan) Spargur, Brian Dale (Charisee) Warrington, Michelle Warrington (Allen) Kornahrens, Nicholas Brent Bolden, Jessica Lauren (Perry) Bowers, Kellie Breanne (Forrest) Drennon-Malcolm, Julianne Rivers Scott; sister, Artie (George) Dale; brother, Malcolm Drennon.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Eunice Ackerman Drennon; sister, Christine Syzdlowski; two brothers, Donald Calvin Drennon and Ronald Alvin Drennon; and a great-granddaughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Scott.
