Bobbie Jean Singletary

Bobbie Jean Singletary, 80, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Julius J. Singletary entered into eternal rest Friday, June 13, 2014. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road beginning at 12 p.m. followed by her graveside service in Riverview Memorial Park at 2 pm.
Bobbie was born October 22, 1933 in Saluda, SC, daughter of the late Luther Albert Rushton and Willie Mae Gillian Rushton. Bobbie was a member of North Charleston United Methodist Church and retired from S.C. Federal Credit Union.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Jean Fender (John) of Summerville, SC, two grandchildren, Lena O'Neal Fender, John Marshall Fender; three brothers, Virgil Rushton, Willie O'Neal Rushton (Ree'), Jerry L. Rushton (Opal); two sisters, Frances "Millie" Armstrong (Ron), Linda Bradley (Leon).
