Bobbie J. Burkett

Bobbie J. Hall Burkett, 65, of North Charleston, SC, wife of James R. Burkett, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, in the Hospice of Charleston Hospice Center in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Born September 29, 1944 in Anniston, Alabama she was one of 12 children of Fred William Hall and Estella J. Bryan Hall.  She was a hair dresser for 40 years and a member of the Seacoast Church.

Mrs. Burkett is survived by her husband of 48 years, James R. Burkett of North Charleston, SC; son, Robert Burkett of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Tonya M. Burkett of North Charleston, SC; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters; and one brother.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 1:00 PM.  Interment to follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner, SC.  The family will receive friends in Stuhr's North Area Chapel Friday, August 27, 2010 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
