Blanche Schultz Haselden, 84, of Huger, South Carolina, wife of Kenneth E. Haselden died Thursday, October 1, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Halfway Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Blanche was born June 7, 1931 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Wilbur Schultz and the late Mary Blakely Schultz. She retired from the A & P Grocery Store and the Post and Courier. She was a door greeter at the Walmart in Mount Pleasant in the Garden Area and was a member of Wando Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Haselden of Huger, SC; son, Gary Haselden and his wife, Bina, of Huger, SC; two brothers, Stan Schultz and Jimmy Schultz (Marcia), all of Rock Hill, SC; grandson, Wayne Haselden of Pelion, SC; granddaughter, Adrienne Haselden of Moncks Corner, SC; two great grandchildren, Hannah Haselden and Havok Haselden; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three children, Danielle Haselden, Melanie Haselden and Kenny Haselden, brothers, Johnnie Schultz, and Oliver Schultz, and sisters, Ima Haselden and Nynetta Ackerman.
