Blanche E. Stutts Dennis

Blanche E. Stutts Dennis, 90, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Sunday, February 25, 2018. Her memorial service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Sandpiper Courtyard, 1047 Anna Knapp Blvd. at 2:30 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Blanche was born February 15, 1928 in Ravenel, South Carolina, daughter of the late Richard Stutts and the late Ruth Hiott Stutts. She retired from the College of Charleston and work at worked at the University of South Carolina in Columbia in the Financial Services Department. Blanche was a former resident of Sandpiper Village and Assisted Living. She was affectionately known as "GG" by her great grandchildren. Blanche loved gardening and flowers and received "Yard of the Month" and the "Yard of the Year" awards numerous times. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ravenel.

She is survived by son, R. Ray Dennis (Tami) of Isle Of Palms, SC; granddaughter, Caroline C. Davis (Scott) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two great-granddaughters, Ruthie Davis and Celia Davis; great-grandson, Hank Davis; and daughter-in-law and good friend, Linda Dennis of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She was preceded in death by her
former husband, George R Dennis.
