Blanchard Weeks Mckeithan

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of January 17, 2011, Blanchard Weeks "Mac" McKeithan, widower of Theresa Elsey McKeithan.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Friday, January 21, 2011 at 1:00pm.  Burial will be conducted later.  Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel Thursday between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.

Mr. McKeithan was born September 25, 1935, in Charleston, SC, the son of Henry Hampton McKeithan, Jr. and Carrie Weeks McKeithan Hollis.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a former employee of Staples in South Windermere, a former Charleston City Police Officer and retired from Sears after 43 years of service.

He is survived by two sons: Kenneth W. McKeithan (Sue) of Summerville, SC and Kevin Lamar McKeithan (Chrissy) of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren: Kevin Lamar McKeithan, Michael Harley McKeithan and Ashley Nicole McKeithan; two brothers: Henry Hampton McKeithan, III of Apollo Beach, FL, Clifford McKeithan of Barnsville, GA; two sisters: Carolyn Lindsey of St. George, SC and Molly Hughes of Charleston, SC.
