Billy R. King

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of May 27, 2011, Billy R. King, Sr., widower of Betty Jo Shelley King of North Charleston, SC.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road on Monday, May 30, 2011, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.  The relatives and friends of Mr. King are invited to attend his graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols, SC, on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 2:00 pm.   

Mr. King was born on August 3, 1945 in Marion County, SC, the son of the late Richard Olin King and Gladys Britt King. He was a member of Crowfield Baptist Church in Goose Creek, SC.

He is survived by his two sons: Billy R. King, Jr. of Columbia, SC; William Jason King and his wife, Stacia of Goose Creek, SC and grandson, Dylan King;   five sisters: Margaret Rabon and her husband, L.W. of Conway, SC; Ann Ott and her husband, John of Barnwell, SC; Helen Rivenbark of Charleston, SC; Lois Chesnut and her husband,  Lenwood of Conway, SC and Edna Martin and her husband,  Roy of Barnwell, SC; sister-in-law, Francis King of Nichols, SC; and many nieces and nephews.    

Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Jo, infant son Joseph and brother James King.
