Billy J. Hoover, Sr.

Billy J. Hoover, Sr. 85, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Linda Howard Hoover entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 2, 2024. His graveside service will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 in the Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street at 12:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Billy was born November 16, 1938 in Kona, Kentucky, son of the late John Hoover and the late Teny Watts Hoover. He was an avid cruiser and loved fishing and watching westerns. 

In addition to his wife, Linda, of 54 years, he is survived by children: Tracy Watkins (Ashley) of Hanahan, SC, Billy J. Hoover, Jr. (Carol) of Goose Creek, SC, Rita Taylor (Matthew) of Goose Creek, SC, and Dan Prosymchak (Lindsay); grandchildren: Ralph Watkins, Tyler Watkins, Elizabeth Stewart (Michael), and Dylan Hoover; goddaughter, Mykaylah Baughman; great grandchildren: Ryder, Lily and Jonah; siblings: Bob Hoover, Marvin Hoover, and Curtis Barger (Terry); and many loved nieces and nephews.
