Billie Sue Lewis, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Clifford Allen Lewis entered into eternal rest Monday, August 31, 2026. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 604 Pitt St., Mount Pleasant, at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall. Entombment will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.

Billie was born April 11, 1943, in Columbia, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Tillman Johnson and the late Sue Reiltie Hendrix Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford A. Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Children, Elaine McGuire Simmons (Bubba)of McClellanville, SC, Kevin Scott McGuire of Charleston, SC ; Stepchildren, Rodney J. Lewis of Toledo, OH, Terena M. Nelson(Pete )of Chesterfield, MI; grandchildren, William Simmons III, Katelin Simmons; and step-grandchildren, Andrew Lewis, Kirsten Vincent, Shelby Jarzombek(Mike) and thier son James, Libby Nelson and her son Bryson.
