Connie "Billie" Ayers Cummings, 71, of Saint George, SC, died Monday, August 24, 2015. Her visitation will be held Monday, August 31, 2015, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Billie was born August 5, 1944 in Mullins, SC, daughter of the late William Judson Ayers and Mary Dixon Thomas.

She is survived by a son, William Ward and his wife Whitney of Ridgeville, SC; three grandchildren: Christopher Sledge, D.J. Sledge and Daniel Ward; sister, Beth Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cummings; son, Henry Ward; daughter, Cynthia Fisher; and sisters, Judy Taylor and Peggy Butler.
