Billie Joe Coleman, Sr., 83, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.
Billie was born October 12, 1930 in Wiley, Arkansas, son of the late Lawton Coleman and Lois Tracy Coleman. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Navy and was a retired iron worker.
He is survived by his sons, Billie Joe Coleman Jr. (Judy Bono) and Rick D. Coleman (Nancy), all of Charleston; and two grandchildren, Shellie Coleman and Eric Coleman.
