We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Beverly Anne Prudhomme (Nee: Kirchner) on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Charleston, South Carolina.
She was beloved wife of the late Irvin Roland Prudhomme, loving daughter of the late Gertrude and Easton Kirchner, dear sister to her late brother Donald Kirchner and late sister Karen Schweihofer and brother Bobby (Audrey) Kirchner, beloved niece of the late George and Eleanor Hornberger.
Beverly lived for her family as a cherished mother to son Michael (Joanne), daughters Susan Duffie (Clay) and Nancy Sovran (Andrew). She was loving Grammy to grandchildren; Michael's Allison (Jeff), Lindsey (Pat), and Luke, Susan's Zachary (Anna), Magdalyn, Jesse and Louis, and Nancy's Sarah (Eric), Joseph (Kristin), Anne, Mary Kate, Dominic, Molly, Hope, Abigail, and Kathleen.
Her great-grandchildren are Allison's Chloe, Blake and Drew, Lindsey's Hailey and Emelia, Zachary's Emmie, Hadley and Sullivan, Jesse's Dublyn and Joe's Claire.
Born April 2, 1932 and raised in Marine City, Michigan, Beverly graduated from Holy Cross Catholic High School where she and Irvin were king and queen of their senior prom. Beverly supported every church she attended as Eucharistic Minister and received the Cherchez la Femme Award from Lawrence Tech University. Beverly recently moved to the Old Village in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and joined Christ Our King Catholic Church.
The Rite of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00 am at Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Baltimore, Michigan on Monday, August 13, 2018. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
