Beverly Shane Ortner, 84, of Charleston, widow of Melvin Ortner, entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 30, 2015.

Her funeral service will be held at the graveside, Monday, August 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery "Maryville". Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Beverly was born on April 21, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of Edward Shane and Ida Hecklin Shane. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife, caring mother and loving grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Leon Martin Ortner, and his wife Karen; two daughters, Elaine Ortner Brabham and her husband, David; and Brenda Ortner Silverboard and her husband, Kenneth; two granddaughters, Erica Shane Silverboard and Jamie Dena Silverboard.
