Beverly Diane Baker Cone

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 22, 2012, Beverly Diane Baker Cone, wife of George Hollis Cone. Residence, Wadmalaw Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. George Hollis Cone are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 3:00 PM in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Burial services will be conducted later. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel Wednesday from 1:00 pm until time of service.

Mrs. Cone was born February 9, 1944 in Texarkana, Texas, the daughter of Billy P. Baker and Edna Smoak Baker. She was a graduate of Winthrop College and an avid quilter.

She is survived by her husband of Wadmalaw Island and Columbia, SC; two daughters: Dr. Holley Cone of Wadmalaw Island, SC and Dr. Courtney Cone O'Brian and her husband David of Ponte Vedra, FL; one son: Ashley Cone and his wife Kristin of Columbia, SC; one sister: Linda Lee Baker of Greenville, SC; three grandsons: Spencer Hewitt of Wadmalaw Island, SC, Holden and Branson Cone of Columbia, SC.
